Joysn-West Launches to Expand Healthcare Access, STEM Education, and Financial Literacy in North Carolina
Roseboro, NC 4/2/2025 – Joysn-West, a newly established nonprofit dedicated to bridging gaps in healthcare, STEM education, and financial literacy, has officially been recognized by the state and received its federal EIN. The organization has also submitted its 501(c)(3) application, marking a significant step toward serving underserved communities in North Carolina.
Founded on the principle of Building Up Individuals through Leadership and Development (BUILD), Joysn-West seeks to empower individuals by providing:
- Free or discounted healthcare access, including physicals for underserved communities.
- STEM education programs that prepare students for future careers in technology and engineering.
- Financial literacy initiatives, including medical bill relief, secured credit card payment matching, and in-house vehicle financing for those in need.
“With the rising costs of healthcare and education, we saw a critical need to create a resource that helps individuals and families take control of their futures,” said Mike, Founder of Joysn-West. “Our goal is to provide essential services that not only improve financial stability but also open doors to new opportunities in STEM and beyond.”
Joysn-West has ambitious plans, including launching a state-of-the-art computer lab and securing partnerships with hospitals, financial institutions, and community organizations to expand its impact. The organization is also raising funds to acquire and renovate a local school building to serve as a full-scale education and community center.
