Agile Leadership. Direct Accountability. Professional Stewardship.
At Joysn-West, our governance model is designed for maximum capital efficiency. We operate with a lean, specialized Board of Directors that provides direct oversight of every phase of our infrastructure roadmap. By maintaining a focused leadership team, we ensure that corporate allocations move directly from the balance sheet to the facility with zero bureaucratic friction.
Mike Tyner
President/CEO
Mike leads the strategic vision for Joysn-West, bridging the gap between physical infrastructure and community impact. With a focus on asset-backed development, he ensures that the Joysn-West facility remains a high-performance environment that meets both technical standards and regional needs. Mike is the primary architect of the “Asset-Backed Social ROI” model, ensuring 100% fee-simple ownership and long-term sustainability.
“This work is personal to me. We’re building a space where people who have been left behind can finally move forward.”
Renauld Goines
VP/Program Director
Renauld manages the fiduciary integrity of the organization. He is responsible for our “Restricted Fund” accounting model, ensuring that every dollar allocated for the Phase 1 remodel is tracked, audited, and deployed with surgical precision. His oversight ensures that Joysn-West meets the highest standards of corporate transparency and regulatory compliance, providing our partners with the data integrity required for enterprise-level reporting.
“We’re not just fixing buildings. We’re building futures.”
Myrick McLaurin
VP/Director of Community Engagement
Leveraging deep-rooted ties to the Roseboro community, Myrick oversees the integration of Joysn-West into the local ecosystem. His focus is on ensuring that our Layer 1-3 programs are authentically aligned with the residents and regional stakeholders. He serves as the primary liaison between our technical roadmap and the community, ensuring the “Human Capital Engine” we are building is responsive, relevant, and rooted in Roseboro’s success.
“Joysn-West isn’t just here for the people — it’s being built with the people.”
Our Governance Framework
To inspire confidence in our Fortune 500 partners, Joysn-West adheres to a rigorous set of stewardship principles:
• Restricted Capital Management: All funds earmarked for infrastructure remodeling are ring-fenced. This ensures your investment is utilized exclusively for the technical specs outlined in our roadmap.
• Milestone-Based Validation: Our board utilizes a “Gate-Check” system. Funds are released only upon the verified completion of specific construction or technical milestones (e.g., HVAC completion, Fiber integration).
• Data-Driven Transparency: We don’t just report on stories; we report on data. Our board oversees the KPI dashboards that track participant throughput and certification attainment.
• Zero-Debt Policy: Because we hold 100% ownership of our facility, we operate with a zero-debt-service mandate, ensuring your allocation is never used to pay off interest or mortgages.
Corporate Compliance Documents
We maintain an open-door policy for our strategic partners. The following documents are available for review upon request during the “Technical Briefing” phase:
- IRS 501(c)(3) Determination Letter
- Board-Approved Financial Stewardship Agreements
- Facility Inspection & Compliance Reports
- Phase 1 Engineering Specifications

Our board is available for strategic alignment calls with CSR leads and ESG executives to discuss how our governance model de-risks your philanthropic investments.
